Mark Hosko, MD
Mark Hosko, MD came to the Northwest in 1986. His training was in the Midwest. He graduated from the Medical College of Wisconsin in 1985, and completed his residency in Lansing, Michigan. Dr. Hosko is board-certified in Urgent Care Medicine and is a co-founder of UrgentCare NW. He is an avid hiker, backpacker, and mountaineer. Dr. Hosko’s passion for the outdoors is expressed in his wildlife paintings which are displayed in regional galleries.
Dr. Hosko’s love of hiking in the Columbia River Gorge gave him the opportunity to combine his talents as an urgent care physician with his knowledge of some of the most challenging terrain in the Gorge. Keith Klatt, MD
Keith Klatt, MD is a 1987 graduate of the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in San Antonio, Texas. Dr. Klatt is board-certified in Urgent Care Medicine and is a co-founder of UrgentCare NW. He is also active in pharmaceutical research. Outside activities include bicycling, hiking, golf, gardening, and playing with his two children.
Liesa Zunino, COO
Liesa Zunino, Chief Operating Officer is a creative, analytical, and highly motivated business professional who moved to the Northwest in 1990. She joined the UrgentCare NW Team in 2006 and leads the company’s business operations. Liesa is the proud mother of two daughters and enjoys spending time with her family when not working.
Charlie Wong, MD
Charlie Wong, MD is a native of Portland, Oregon. He graduated from Reed College and earned his medical degree from the University of Oregon Health Sciences in 1980. Dr. Wong is certified by the American Board in Internal Medicine, but has practiced urgent care for over 24 years. He was the Clinical Director of the Spokane Indian Reservation Clinic in the early 1980’s. He has been associated with UrgentCare NW – Gresham since the clinic was founded in 1995. He has a variety of interests which include photography, reading, hiking, travel, and the arts.
Sara Trask, MD
Sara Trask, MD is a 1989 graduate of The Medical College of Wisconsin. She completed her family practice residency and Family Practice board certification at the University of California Mercy Medical Center in Redding, California. Sara works in the medical specialties of family practice, emergency medicine, and urgent care. Her outside interests include windsurfing, skiing, gardening, and playing with her child.
Aaron Liere, PA-C
Aaron Liere, PA-C graduated from the Physician Assistant Program at Des Moines University in Des Moines, Iowa in 1999. He received his undergraduate degree in Sports Medicine from Oregon State University. Outside the clinic, Aaron’s interests include golf, hiking, camping, and home brewing.
Anthony Friendy, PA-C
Anthony Friendy, PA-C is a 1991 graduate of Edinboro University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. and M.S. in Biology. He graduated from the Physician Assistant Program at King’s College in Pennsylvania in 1996 with a B.S. in P.A. studies. Anthony has been a member of the Army National Guard in Pennsylvania and Oregon since 1997. He completed a tour in Iraq from June 2005 to June 2006. His experience has been in family practice, emergency room trauma, and urgent care. He was a professor at Seton Hall University in the Physician’s Assistant Program from 2002-2004. Anthony’s interests include bicycling, snowshoeing, hiking, running, and camping.
Michael Meno, PA-C
Michael Meno, PA-C completed the Physician Assistant Program at Bess Kaiser Hospital in Portland, Oregon in 1970. He was trained in both surgery and general practice. He has practiced in Clatsop and Pacific Counties since 1974. Mike is a past two-time president of the Oregon Society of Physician Assistants. He is a former city councilman and mayor in Ilwaco, Washington. He has been the Long Beach, Washington Man of the Year. He has a special interest in sports medicine and is a member of the Astoria, Oregon Sports Hall of Fame. Mike is married to Astoria native Vicki Smith and has a grown daughter, Kallie. He enjoys his practice at UrgentCare NW in Astoria and continues to be an active member of the community.
Micha Tannenbaum, PA-C
Micha Tannenbaum, PA-C received his Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, CA. He earned his undergraduate degree in cellular molecular biology from Humboldt State University in Arcata, CA. Prior to moving to Portland, Micha practiced emergency medicine in Modesto, CA. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys alpine rock climbing, back country skiing, surat shabda yoga, and exploring the Pacific NW.
John Zeier, RN, MSN, FNP
John Zeier, RN, MSN, FNP is a proud Montana native and has been an RN since the 1980’s. He graduated from The University of New Mexico’s Nurse Practitioner Program in 2001. John’s experience includes critical care, mental health, family practice, and teaching. He has been part of the UrgentCare NW team since 2010. When not at work, the John is busy helping his wife raise their two children, as well as reading and running UltraMarathons.
Deborah Reynolds, BSN, MSN, NP
Deborah Reynolds, BSN, MSN, NP is a native Oregonian, and she graduated from OHSU with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1974. In 1981, she received her Master’s degree from the University of Virginia and also earned an Adult Nurse Practitioner Certificate. Deborah worked for many years in critical care and emergency nursing, and was the critical care nurse educator at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Portland. She received her Acute Care Nurse Practitioner post-Master’s certificate from OHSU in 1999 and has worked as a nurse practitioner in primary care, alcohol and drug rehabilitation, and urgent care for the past 12 years. She is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Deborah’s interests include biking, gardening, and building.
Sally Baker, PA-C
Sally Baker, PA-C was excited to join, UrgentCare NW when the clinic opened a location in her hometown of Astoria. She attended the Star of the Sea School and Astoria High School, so she was eager to provide her community with compassionate, high quality medical care. Sally graduated from the Physician Assistant Program at Oregon Health and Science University.
Katy Kwan, PA-C
Katy Kwan, PA was born in Hong Kong, and immigrated to the U.S. at the age of five. She feels like a native Oregonian since she has lived here most of her life. Katy earned her undergraduate degree in biology and chemistry from Willamette University in Salem, Oregon and completed the Physician Assistant Studies program at Arcadia University in Newark, Delaware, and Glenside, Pennsylvania. As part of her training, she also spent a month in Guatemala at the regional hospital in Zacapa. She joined UrgentCare NW in 2010 and also works in a local pediatric group practice. When not at the clinic, Katy enjoys traveling, tennis, reading, eating out, and spending time with family and friends. She speaks fluent Cantonese, some Spanish, and enjoys learning new languages.
Marc Morishige, PT
Marc Morishige, PT graduated from the Physical Therapy Program at Pacific University in 1989. He is a native Oregonian from Ontario, Oregon. Marc has been with the clinic since it was founded in 1995. He has specialized expertise in pre-employment screening, ergonomic assessments, long term resident care, physical capacity evaluations, post-surgical rehabilitation, industrial rehabilitation, and orthopedic/sports/motor vehicle injuries. Marc is also a certified trainer and enjoys competing in the sport of power-lifting. He has won two world championships in the open division.
